Inside PxTrack: What You Can See on the PxTrack System

Published on by Xenia Labis

Electronic Medical Records or EMR Systems have advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantages is making things efficient for your clinic or medical institution. So it’s no wonder why the rate of adoption of EHR and EMR systems is “around 89%.” PxTrack is one of the best EMR Systems available, so here’s what’s inside!

What’s in PxTrack?

PxTrack Dashboard

Dashboard — this shows users appointments and events at a glance for a particular day, week or month. The Today’s Schedule section on the side displays all the events for the day, all lined up neatly. So, the Dashboard helps staff evaluate priorities. Thus, they coordinate and plan their work and equipment as needed. So even if there are changes or adjustments to the schedule, everyone gets updated.

PxTrack Calendar’s look will depend on the doctor’s specialization. For example, one of the legends indicates EDC or Estimated Date of Confinement. So if and when a patient is pregnant, the OB-GYN can take note of and plot out the EDC based on previous consultation records.

Adding Appointments

As for booking Appointments, you can select the patient from a dropdown list and specify the appointment date and time. Additionally, if the PxTrack subscription is for more than one clinic, the appointment identifies the patient’s clinic. PxTrack will also allow clinics to book their Walk-In Patients! Also, PxTrack lets you set up a Recurring Schedule. This is helpful if the patient is required to visit more than once.

Creating Events

You also have an option to create events. For example, Doctors and medical practitioners have regular or otherwise required events to attend. So it’s vital to note Events on the PxTrack calendar to avoid conflict with patient appointments. Like the Appointments window, you can set up a Recurring Schedule for Events.

Today’s Schedule

The Today’s Schedule section on the right will display the list of the patients scheduled for that day. So the time, the patient name, and even the clinic is laid out clearly. Thus, the doctor has an overview of the patients they’ll have for the whole day. It’s especially beneficial if the doctor moves from clinic to clinic.

Plus, the PxTrack system is dynamic. So no other clinic names will show up on the Today’s Schedule section if there aren’t any other clinics.

One of the features you can find inside a PxTrack package is a Heatmap. It’s an illustrated report that displays the density of different cases within a specific location, also known as Medical Hotspots. You can filter by:

  • Illness
  • Location within the Philippines
    • Region
    • Province
    • City/Municipality
    • Barangay
  • Date (a timeframe)

So if a clinic has branches throughout the Philippines and employs PxTrack, they can monitor areas with confirmed cases with the Heatmap.

Patient List

PxTrack keeps a record of patients, and you can see it in the system’s Patient List. Its layout isn’t hard to grasp, and it even filters by name. Information found there is as follows:

  • Code or Patient Code
  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Birthdate
  • Blood Type
  • Status

Also, you can use Advanced Search if you’re looking for someone specific!

Patient Form

PxTrack’s Patient Form contains the Basic Information found inside regular medical records. So, a doctor can see patient information like complete name, location, and more. Also, the Referral Info records if and when another doctor has referred the patient. If the patient is female, then there’s also the Gyne History.

In addition, if a patient has an existing illness, it can be recorded in the system through Illness History. The Consultation tab lets you input the details of a consultation. So the form shows the basic information, vital signs, medication, and other information! The medication, in particular, is directly connected to the illness. So, the system will automatically suggest the best possible meds to remedy the illness. Also, you can print prescriptions found here.

In addition, you can find the feature for the Carried for Admission printing here. PxTrack also records Exams and tests, and the same goes for Billing. Billing also records payments. There’s also a section for inputting info about a patient’s Medical History. Finally, you can see the consent forms in compliance with Data Privacy regulations.

Phew, a Clinic Management System can really do a lot for your medical institution!

PxTrack has a whole range of features inside!

These are essential features that the EMR System has to offer. So regardless of clinic and staff size, doctors can boost efficiency and productivity. In addition, you can check the Ultimate Guide to using PxTrack. But, of course, you can always get a closer look by contacting EMR Providers in the Philippines.
